I capture the ephemeral, transforming it into fragments of eternity.
My work in 6x6 and 24x36 color explores the diversity of landscapes and spaces where humankind and nature meet: countryside, city, forest, sea.
Each place possesses its own rhythm, its own light, its own contrasts: the tranquility of fields, the energy of the city, the mysterious density of forests, or the infinite horizon of the sea.
Sunset, the moment of transition between day and night, becomes a guiding thread: it unifies earth and water, stone and sky, in a palette of shifting colors.
In color, I seek to convey the vibrancy of atmospheres, the softness of nuances, and the brilliance of contrasts. 6x6 film offers a unique depth and density, a sensitive medium that invites contemplation. The more flexible and faster 24x36 digital format allows me to capture fleeting moments, unexpected reflections, and the shifting light from one second to the next.
Through these images, my intention is to create a visual journey, where landscapes of land and sea become spaces of memory, emotion, and poetry.
My color photographs are part of a visual illustration approach: they seek to narrate, suggest, and accompany a text or idea through the power of the image.
Color plays an essential role: it captures attention, establishes an atmosphere, and conveys an immediate emotion.
Whether landscapes, urban scenes, still lifes, or details of everyday life, each image is conceived as a sensitive evocation that can engage with various contexts—editorial, artistic, or documentary.
These illustrative photographs aim to offer open images, capable of suggesting without confining, and of inspiring as much as they inform.
